As We Know It: Life After College Athletics →
huffingtonpost.com
Very well written article reflecting over the transition into real life for college athletes.
“When a lot of things start going wrong all at once, it is to protect something big and lovely that is trying to get itself born - and this something needs for you to be distracted so that it can be born as perfectly as possible.”

This article hits on what I was talking about: commentator criticism. For the women’s team there seems to be none. But in this case there was criticism and Hope decides to blow up on twitter before even commenting on the team’s great win. I’m not sure how offensive Chastain’s comment was but evidently her job as a commentator is to criticize not to always praise. There needs to be a healthy balance between the two.
